- Install Accordion Panels: Free the open end of each accordion panel and slide it into the unit. Then, slide the top and bottom rails into place to secure them. Repeat for both panels.

- Tuwhera Hiiri: If needed, cut the window sash seal foam and insert it into the cracks of the window sashes to prevent air leakage. Additional seal tape can be used to secure any remaining openings after assembly.
- Hononga Hiko: Plug the unit directly into a dedicated 230-volt, 20-amp electrical outlet (NEMA 6-15P plug type). The cable length is approximately 6.5 feet.

- Allow the filter to dry completely before re-installing it into the unit.

If you encounter issues with your air conditioner, refer to the common problems and solutions below:

- Check your home's circuit breaker or fuse box.
- Verify the unit's power button is pressed and the timer is not set to off.

- Ensure the unit is slightly tilted outwards to allow proper drainage.
