Whakakapinga Fuse

The ITECH IT6720 power supply is equipped with a replaceable fuse for protection against overcurrent. If the unit fails to power on or experiences unexpected shutdowns, the fuse may need replacement. The fuse holder is located on the rear panel, near the AC power input.

  1. Momotu Mana: Ensure the power supply is completely disconnected from the AC mains before attempting any maintenance.
  2. Kimihia te Pupuri Fiusi: Identify the fuse holder on the rear panel (refer to Figure 3). It is typically a small, cylindrical cap that can be twisted or pulled out.
  3. Tangohia te Fiusi Tawhito: Use a small flat-head screwdriver or your fingernail to gently pry open or twist the fuse holder cap. Carefully remove the old fuse.
  4. Check Fuse Rating: The required fuse rating is printed on the rear panel near the fuse holder. For 110V AC operation, the fuse is typically 3.15A/250V. For 220V AC operation, it is 1.5A/250V. Always replace with a fuse of the exact same type and rating.
  5. Whakauruhia he Fiusi Hou: Place the new fuse into the fuse holder cap and reinsert it into the power supply, ensuring it is securely seated.
  6. Honoa Anō te Mana: Reconnect the power supply to the AC mains and test its operation.
