1. Piano Placement
Place the digital piano on a stable, flat surface or a compatible keyboard stand. Ensure there is adequate space around the instrument for comfortable playing and access to connections.

Connect the included AC adaptor to the DC 12V jack on the rear panel of the piano. Plug the other end of the AC adaptor into a standard wall outlet. The power indicator LED will illuminate when the piano is powered on.
5. Connecting Headphones (Optional)
For private practice, connect standard stereo headphones to the PHONES/OUTPUT jack on the rear panel. This will mute the internal speakers.
6. USB MIDI Connection (Optional)
The CDP-S150 features Class Compliant USB MIDI. Connect a USB cable (Type B to Type A, not included) from the piano's USB port to your computer. This allows the piano to function as a MIDI controller for music software.

Operating the Piano
1. Te Hiko / Whakaweto

The built-in metronome is useful for practicing rhythm and timing.
- To turn the metronome on/off: Press the [METRONOME] pātene.
- To adjust tempo: While holding [MAHI], whakamahia te [TEMPO] keys (usually +/- keys) to increase or decrease the tempo.
- To adjust beat: While holding [MAHI], whakamahia te [BEAT] keys to change the time signature.
5. Using the Chordana Play App
The Casio CDP-S150 is compatible with the Chordana Play for Piano app. Connect your smart device via USB MIDI to access various features, including:
- Piano Roll display for learning songs.
- MIDI recorder/player.
- Remote control of piano functions.
