Kupu Whakataki
This manual provides comprehensive instructions for setting up, operating, and maintaining your Sharp Digital Alarm Clock (Model SPC387). This clock features a clear red LED display, dual alarms, an ascending alarm volume, and battery backup for continued operation during power outages. Designed for ease of use, it is suitable for all users.

Tohutohu Tatūnga
1. Hononga Mana
Plug the AC power cord into a standard 120V AC wall outlet. The display will illuminate, and the clock will be ready for time setting.
2. Tāuta Pūrua Pūhiko
For battery backup, open the battery compartment cover located on the bottom of the unit. Insert two (2) new AA batteries (not included), observing the correct polarity (+ and -). Close the battery compartment cover. The battery backup feature will maintain time and alarm settings during a power interruption, but the display will not be illuminated.

Nga Tohutohu Whakahaere
1. Te Whakatakoto i Te Wa
- Patohia me te pupuri i te WĀ button. The time display will begin to flash.
- I te wa e mau ana te WĀ pātene, pēhia te HOUR pātene hei whakatika i te hāora. Tirohia te tohu PM mo te tautuhinga AM/PM tika.
- I te wa e mau tonu ana te WĀ pātene, pēhia te MINI patene hei whakatika i nga meneti.
- Tukua te WĀ patene hei whakarite i te waa.
2. Setting the Alarm (Dual Alarm)
This clock supports two independent alarms (AL1 and AL2).
- Kiriata te ALARM 1/2/DUAL switch to select either AL1 or AL2. The corresponding alarm indicator (AL1 or AL2) will illuminate on the display.
- Patohia me te pupuri i te ohooho button. The alarm time display will begin to flash.
- I te wa e mau ana te ohooho pātene, pēhia te HOUR button to adjust the alarm hour. Observe the PM indicator.
- I te wa e mau tonu ana te ohooho pātene, pēhia te MINI te paatene hei whakatika i nga meneti whakaoho.
- Tukua te ohooho button to set the alarm time.
- To activate the alarm, ensure the PANUWHIRI ON / WAWHI switch is in the ON position. The selected alarm indicator (AL1 or AL2) will remain lit.
- To set the second alarm, repeat steps 1-6, selecting the other alarm (AL2 or AL1).

3. Te whakamahi i te Taumahi Whakamoe
Ka tangi te whakaoho, pehia te rahi Whakatā button located on the top of the clock. The alarm will temporarily stop and sound again after approximately 9 minutes.
4. Turning Off the Alarm
Hei whakaweto rawa i te whakaoho, nekehia te PANUWHIRI ON / WAWHI switch to the OFF position. The alarm indicator (AL1 or AL2) will turn off.
5. Ascending Alarm Volume
The alarm starts at a low volume and gradually increases, providing a gentle wake-up experience. If not turned off, the alarm will continue to increase in volume and frequency.
