This manual provides detailed instructions for the setup, operation, and maintenance of your Sharp Digital Alarm Clock with AccuSet. Designed for ease of use, this clock automatically sets the time, making it ideal for all users.

Tatūnga
1. Initial Power-Up and Time Zone Selection
- Locate the time zone switch on the bottom of the clock.
- Select your desired time zone (e.g., EST for Eastern Standard Time). The default is Eastern Standard Time.
- Plug the clock into an approved electrical source. The AccuSet feature will automatically set the correct time.
2. Daylight Savings Time (DST) Adjustment
To adjust for Daylight Savings Time:
- Slide the DST switch on the bottom of the clock to ON to add one hour (+1 hr).
- For Standard Time, slide the switch to WATE to subtract one hour (-1 hr).
3. Pūrua Pūrua
The clock comes with a pre-installed CR2032 button cell battery. This battery retains time settings during power outages. It is located in a screw-secured compartment at the bottom of the clock.

1. Te Whakatakoto i te Whakaoho
- Pehia te WHAKATAHI PANUI button once. The alarm time will flash on the display.
- Pehia te HOUR SET button to adjust the alarm hour. Observe the PM indicator for correct AM/PM setting.
- Pehia te HEI WHAKAMAHI paatene hei whakatika i te meneti whakaoho.
- Pehia te WHAKATAHI PANUI button again to confirm and exit alarm setting mode.
2. Turning Alarm On/Off
- To turn the alarm ON, pehia te PANUWHIRI ON / WAWHI button. The alarm indicator light on the display will illuminate.
- To turn the alarm WATE, pehia te PANUWHIRI ON / WAWHI button again. The alarm indicator light will turn off.
3. Mahi whakamoe
Ka tangi te whakaoho, pehia te rahi Whakatā button located on the top of the clock. The alarm will temporarily stop and sound again after approximately 9 minutes.
4. Mana Whakaiti i te Āhua
Hei whakatika i te kanapa o te whakaaturanga LED:
- Pehia te DIMMER HI/LO button to toggle between high and low brightness settings.

Te Whakakapinga Pūhiko (CR2032)
The pre-installed CR2032 battery is designed to last for several years. If the clock loses time during a power outage, the battery may need replacement.
- Unplug the clock from the electrical outlet.
- Locate the screw-secured battery compartment on the bottom of the clock.
- Unscrew the compartment cover and carefully remove the old CR2032 battery.
- Insert a new CR2032 battery, ensuring the correct polarity (+ side up).
- Replace the compartment cover and secure it with the screw.
- Plug the clock back into the electrical outlet.
