3.1 Hototahi
This interface pad is specifically suitable for the PLANEX LHS 2 225 EQ(I) wall sander. It is kore hototahi with the PLANEX LHS 225 EQ (models up to 09/2020) or the PLANEX LHS-E 225 EQ. It must be used in combination with the ST-D220/48-LHS 2 225 sanding pad.
3.2 Attaching the Interface Pad
- Ensure your sanding pad (ST-D220/48-LHS 2 225) is clean and free of debris.
- Align the Festool Interface-Pad IP-STF-D220/48-LHS 2 225 with the sanding pad, ensuring the holes for the screws and dust extraction align perfectly.
- Insert the 8 included plastic screws into the designated holes.
- Tighten the plastic screws. A second screw or a coin can be used to turn and secure them; no special screwdriver is required. Ensure all screws are snug to prevent movement during operation.

4.1 Attaching Abrasives
