Please read this manual thoroughly before operating the humidifier to ensure safe and efficient use. Keep this manual for future reference.

2. Nga Tohutohu Haumaru Nui

3. Waenga Hua
Familiarize yourself with the parts of your Blaupunkt AHA501 Humidifier:
- Mist Nozzle/Top Cover: Directs the mist output.
- Tāke Wai: Ka mau ki te 4 rita o te wai.

- Paewhiri Mana: Buttons for power, mist level, and timer.

4. Tatūnga

- Whakakihia te Taaka Wai: Remove the water tank from the base. Unscrew the cap at the bottom of the tank and fill it with clean, cool tap water. Distilled or demineralized water is recommended to prevent mineral buildup. Do not fill past the maximum fill line. Securely replace the cap.

- Place Tank: Carefully place the filled water tank back onto the base unit, ensuring it is seated correctly.
- Hono Hono: Monohia te taura hiko ki tētahi putanga hiko paerewa (220V).
5. Nga Tohutohu Whakahaere
Operating your humidifier is straightforward:
- Hiko Whakaka/Weto: Press the power button on the control panel to turn the humidifier on or off. The indicator light will illuminate when on.
- Whakatikatika i te Taumata Kohu: Use the mist level button to cycle through different mist output settings (e.g., low, medium, high).
- Whakatakotoria te Taima: Press the timer button to set an operating duration (e.g., 1 hour, 2 hours, 4 hours). The humidifier will automatically turn off after the selected time.
- Te Tirihanga Aro: To use essential oils, open the aroma diffuser compartment (the small green bottle holder). Add a few drops of essential oil to a cotton pad (not included) and place it inside the compartment. Close the compartment. Do not add essential oils directly into the water tank.

6. Tiaki
Regular cleaning is essential for optimal performance and hygiene:
- Tiaki ia rā: Empty the water tank and base unit daily. Rinse the tank and base with fresh water.
- Horoi Wiki:
- Wewetehia te whakamahana.
- Tangohia te puna wai ka ringihia te toenga wai.
- Pour 1 cup of white vinegar into the water tank and base unit. Let it soak for 20-30 minutes.
- Use a soft brush or cloth to clean the inside of the tank and the ultrasonic transducer in the base.
- Rinse thoroughly with clean water until the vinegar smell is gone.
