2. Tatūnga me te Tāuta
Before beginning installation, ensure all components are present and your desk surface is suitable for mounting. The package includes both C-clamp and grommet mount bases for flexible installation.
2.1 Hototahitanga VESA
This monitor mount is compatible with monitors featuring VESA mounting hole patterns of 75x75mm, 100x100mm, and 200x200mm. Ensure your monitor's VESA pattern matches one of these standards.

2.2 Kōwhiringa Whakaeke
Choose between the C-clamp or grommet base depending on your desk type and preference.
2.2.1 C-Clamp Whakauranga turanga
Ko te C-clamp base is suitable for desks with a thickness between 0.4 inches and 3.3 inches. Securely attach the C-clamp to the edge of your desk by tightening the screws until the mount is stable.
2.2.2 Grommet Base Installation
The grommet base is ideal for desks with existing grommet holes or if you prefer to drill a hole. It supports desk thicknesses between 0.4 inches and 1.88 inches. Pass the grommet base through the hole and secure it from underneath the desk.

2.3 Te Tāpiri i te Aroturuki
Once the arm is securely mounted to your desk, attach your monitor to the VESA plate. The detachable VESA plate allows for easier monitor installation. Align the VESA holes on your monitor with the plate and secure it with the provided screws.

3.1 Gas Spring Height Adjustment
The premium gas spring provides smooth and effortless vertical movement. You can adjust the monitor height up to 23 inches. To adjust the tension of the gas spring, use the included 6mm Allen Key. Turn clockwise to increase tension for heavier monitors, and counter-clockwise to decrease tension for lighter monitors. This ensures the monitor stays at the desired height without sagging.

3.2 Full-Motion Articulation
The articulating arm allows for various movements:
- Tapahia: Adjust the screen vertically up or down for optimal viewkoki.
- Hurihuri: Hurihia te mata tirotiro whakapae ki maui, ki matau rānei.
- Paraoa: Move the entire arm assembly horizontally.
- Hurihuri: Rotate the monitor 360 degrees for portrait or landscape orientation.

4. Tiaki
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your SIIG monitor mount, follow these simple maintenance guidelines:
- Te horoi: Regularly wipe down the mount with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn marks, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by drying. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Taki Hononga: Tirohia ngā tīwiri me ngā hononga katoa i ia wā, kia mau tonu ai. Whakamaua anō mēnā e tika ana.
- Te Whakatikatika i te Puna Hau: If your monitor begins to sag or is difficult to adjust, re-evaluate the gas spring tension using the 6mm Allen Key as described in Section 3.1.
5. Te Raru
If you encounter issues with your monitor mount, refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:
- Ka heke te Aroturuki, kāore rānei e mau ki tōna tūranga: This is typically due to incorrect gas spring tension. Use the 6mm Allen Key to increase the tension (turn clockwise) until the monitor stays at the desired height. Ensure your monitor's weight is within the 33 lbs maximum capacity.
- Ngā wiri o te aroturuki: Check all mounting points, including the C-clamp/grommet base and the VESA plate screws, to ensure they are securely tightened. Ensure your desk surface is stable.
- Difficulty Adjusting Monitor: If the arm is too stiff, the gas spring tension might be too high for your monitor's weight. Decrease the tension (turn counter-clockwise) slightly. If the arm feels loose, increase the tension.
- Monitor Not Fitting VESA Plate: Double-check your monitor's VESA mounting pattern. This mount supports 75x75mm, 100x100mm, and 200x200mm. If your monitor has a different pattern, an adapter may be required (not included).
