The CDL-400M is a sophisticated digital door lock designed for enhanced security and convenience, featuring multiple access methods and robust construction.

- 2-Way Access Methods: Supports both RF Card and PIN number for unlocking.

4. Tatūnga me te Tāuta
Professional installation is recommended for optimal performance and security. Ensure all components are present before beginning installation.
4.1 Ihirangi mokete

- Insert the specified number of AA alkaline batteries, ensuring correct polarity.

4.3 Initial PIN Code Registration
- Press the registration button on the indoor unit.
- Enter your desired 4-12 digit PIN code on the keypad.
- Press the '*' button to confirm.
- Repeat the PIN code entry and '*' button press to finalize registration.
4.4 RF Card Registration

- Place your registered RF card on the card reader area until a confirmation sound is heard.
- Repeat for all cards you wish to register (up to 30 cards).
- Press the registration button again to exit registration mode.

5. Nga Tohutohu Whakahaere
5.1 Unlocking from Outside
Using PIN Number:
- Pā atu ki te papapātuhi hei whakahohe.
- Enter your registered PIN number.
- Press the '*' button. The lock will unlock.
Using RF Card:
- Place your registered RF card on the card reader area.
- The lock will unlock automatically.
5.2 Locking from Outside
The lock will automatically engage after the door is closed. You can also manually lock by pressing the '#' button on the keypad.
5.3 Unlocking/Locking from Inside
Simply push down or pull up the handle to unlock or lock the door from the inside.

6. Tiaki
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and proper functioning of your digital door lock.
- Te horoi: Wipe the lock surface with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Whakakapinga Pūhiko: Replace all batteries when the low battery indicator appears or when the lock starts making low battery warning sounds. Do not mix old and new batteries.
- Tirohanga Kakau: Periodically check the handle for any looseness and tighten screws if necessary.

If you encounter issues with your COMMAX CDL-400M, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
