Your safety and the safety of others are very important. Please read all safety messages in this manual and on your appliance. Failure to follow these instructions may result in serious injury or death.

  • Maama Tohu Mata wera: This light alerts you when any surface area is too hot to touch, even after the burner has been turned off.
  • Whakaweto Haumaru Aunoa: The cooktop is equipped with an automatic safety shut-off function that activates if the external temperature of the cooktop becomes too high.
  • Hononga Hiko: Ensure the cooktop is properly installed and grounded by a qualified electrician in accordance with all local codes and ordinances.
  • Mahinga tunu: Use only flat-bottomed cookware appropriate for electric ceramic glass cooktops.

3.3 Dimensions and Cut-Out

3.4 Connecting the Cooktop

The cooktop must be hard-wired to a dedicated electrical circuit. Consult a qualified electrician for proper wiring and connection to ensure safety and compliance with electrical codes.

4. Nga Tohutohu Whakahaere

4.1 Control Knobs and Burners

The cooktop features four electric burners controlled by intuitive knobs located on the side panel.

  • Front Left Burner: Dual Zone, 9.3 in. 2500W / 5.5 in. 1200W elements.
  • Rear Left Burner: 1200W single element.
  • Front Right Burner: Dual Zone, 7.5 in. 1800W / 4.7 in. 750W elements.
  • Rear Right Burner: 1200W single element.

To activate a burner, push down and turn the corresponding control knob to the desired heat setting.

4.2 Taumata Wera

The cooktop offers 5 heat levels, providing flexibility for various cooking tasks, from high heat for boiling and frying to a low simmer for delicate sauces.

4.3 Hot Surface Indicator Light

Each burner area is equipped with a Hot Surface Indicator Light. This light will illuminate when the surface is hot and will remain on until the surface has cooled to a safe temperature.

4.4 Whakaweto Haumaru Aunoa

For enhanced safety, the cooktop features an automatic shut-off mechanism that activates if a burner is left on for an extended period or if the surface temperature exceeds safe limits.

The sleek ceramic glass surface is designed for easy cleaning. Allow the cooktop to cool completely before cleaning to prevent burns and damage.

  • Use a ceramic cooktop cleaner and a soft cloth or sponge.
