4. Tatūnga me te Tāuta
The Juno E-Series LED recessed lights are designed for easy installation into existing 5-inch to 6-inch recessed cans. Follow these general steps:
- Prepare the Housing: Ensure power is off at the circuit breaker. Remove the existing bulb and trim from the recessed can.
- Honoa te Pūurutau: Screw the provided E26 socket adapter into the housing socket.
- Tīpakohia te Paemahana Tae: Before installing, use the switch located on the back of the retrofit trim to select your desired color temperature (2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, or 5000K).
- Connect the Trim: For E-Series Switchable White models, connect the trim directly to the E26 socket adapter. For other retrofit models, plug the connector provided on the trim into the mating connector on the E26 socket adapter.
- Whakauruhia ki te Whare Noho: Squeeze the torsion springs (for 5" or 6" housings) or use the provided push-in friction springs (for 4" housings) to insert the trim into the housing. Gently push the trim up evenly on all sides until it is flush with the ceiling.
