The Gewiss I-CON wall charging station is designed for electric vehicle charging, featuring a 7.4 kW power output and an AUTOSTART function for convenient use. It is built with a durable, UV-resistant technopolymer enclosure and includes a 5-meter Type 2 charging cable.

Āhuatanga matua:

4. Tatūnga me te Tāuta

- Ensure the mounting surface is structurally sound and can support the weight of the charging station.

- Unpack the charger and inspect for any visible damage. Report any damage to your supplier immediately.
4.2 Mounting the Charger:
- Choose a suitable wall location, considering cable reach to the vehicle and accessibility.
- Use the provided mounting template (if applicable) or measure and mark the drilling points on the wall.

- Securely mount the charging station to the wall using suitable screws.
4.3 Hononga Hiko:
- Turn off the main power supply at the circuit breaker before making any electrical connections.

- Connect the incoming power supply cables (Phase, Neutral, Earth) to the designated terminals inside the charger, following the wiring diagram provided in the full installation guide (not included in this user manual).

4.4 Power Configuration (Internal Selector):
The charging power can be configured via an internal selector. The Gewiss ICON charger operates with an AUTOSTART function, simplifying the charging process.
5.1 Starting a Charge:
- Ensure the charger is powered on and the LED status bar is Kakariki (indicating "Free" / "Available").
- Take the Type 2 charging plug from its storage socket.
- Insert the Type 2 plug firmly into your electric vehicle's charging port.
- The charger will automatically detect the vehicle and begin the charging process (AUTOSTART). The LED status bar will turn Kahurangi (indicating "In Use" / "Charging").
- Monitor your vehicle's dashboard or the charger's LED bar to confirm charging has started.
5.2 Stopping a Charge:
- Follow your vehicle's instructions to safely stop the charging session. This usually involves unlocking the charging port via the vehicle's key fob or infotainment system.
- Once the vehicle indicates charging has stopped, carefully remove the Type 2 plug from the vehicle's charging port.
- Return the Type 2 plug to its storage socket on the charging station.
- The LED status bar should return to Kakariki.
5.3 LED Status Indicator:
- Kākāriki: Charger is available and ready to charge.
- Kahurangi: Charger is actively charging an electric vehicle.
- Whero: Charger is out of service or an error has occurred. Refer to the Troubleshooting section.
6. Tiaki
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your Gewiss ICON EV Charger.
