Your safety is paramount. Please read all instructions carefully before using the pressure cooker. Failure to follow these instructions may result in serious injury or damage to the product.
2.1 Whakatupato Haumaru Whanui
- Always ensure the lid is properly closed and locked before applying heat.
- Never force the lid open while the cooker is pressurized.
- Do not fill the pressure cooker more than two-thirds full. For foods that expand (e.g., rice, dried vegetables), do not fill more than half full.
- Ensure all safety valves and vents are clear before each use.
- Keep hands and face away from the steam vent when releasing pehanga.
- Do not use the pressure cooker for deep frying with oil.
- This product is not compatible with induction cooktops.

3.1 Te Wetewete me te Whakapai Tuatahi
- Remove all packaging materials and labels from the pressure cooker.
- Wash the pressure cooker body and lid thoroughly with warm, soapy water. Rinse well and dry completely.
- Inspect all components, including the main valve, auxiliary valves, and sealing gasket, for any damage or obstructions. Ensure the easy-cleaning rod for the main pressure valve is clear.
3.2 Stovetop Compatibility
This pressure cooker is versatile and compatible with the following stovetops:

4. Nga Tohutohu Whakahaere
4.1 Preparing Food
The Universal Ultra Pressure Cooker is designed to simplify meal preparation and cook a variety of dishes efficiently. It is suitable for 5 servings and has a capacity of 4.75 Quarts (4.5 Liters).

You can prepare a wide range of dishes, including:
- Mīti
- Pīni
- Hupa
- ranu
- Rice (Note: For cooking rice, remove the main pressure valve from the pressure cooker lid.)

4.2 Tukanga tunu kai
- Add ingredients and liquid to the pressure cooker. Ensure the fill level is appropriate (max 2/3 full, 1/2 for expanding foods).
- Place the lid on the cooker, aligning the lid with the handles.
- Twist the lid to lock it securely into place. Ensure the safety button on the handle engages.
- Place the pressure cooker on a compatible stovetop over medium to high heat.
- Once pressure builds, the main valve will begin to release steam. Reduce heat to maintain a steady, gentle steam release.
- Cook for the recommended time for your recipe.
- When cooking is complete, turn off the heat. Allow the pressure to release naturally, or use a quick-release method if specified by your recipe and safe to do so (consult specific recipe guidelines).
- Once all pressure has been released (the main valve indicator will drop), you can safely open the lid by pressing the safety button and twisting.
