Before you begin installation, ensure you have the following tools and that your installation area meets the specified requirements:

Taahiraa-i-Taahiraa:
- Whakaritea te whakatuwheratanga:
Starting next to a ceiling joist, trace an outline for the fan housing. Use a drywall saw to carefully cut out the marked area. Ensure the opening size is appropriate for the fan housing (8-1/2" x 8-5/16").
- Maunga te Whare:
Slide the fan housing into the prepared opening. Secure the housing by screwing it into the ceiling joists. Ensure it is firmly attached.
- Connect the Duct:
Attach the ventilation duct to the fan's duct connector. Apply HVAC tape over the connection to ensure an airtight seal and prevent air leakage.
- Waea hiko:
Connect the house wires to the fan wires. Remember to connect black to black, white to white, and ground to ground. Ensure all connections are secure and insulated. Refer to the wiring diagram below.

- Install Grille and Light:
Plug in the light connection. Install the LED bulbs into their sockets. Align the markings on the frosted glass cover with the grille and rotate to fix it securely, preventing it from falling. Finally, attach the grille to the fan housing.

Mahi Fan
Once installed, the fan operates via your wall switch. Turn the switch ON to activate the fan and light. The fan will begin to exhaust air from the room, reducing moisture and odors.
LED Light Functionality

- Te Tohu Paemahana Tae: The LED light allows you to choose between three color temperatures: 3000K (Warm White), 4000K (Cool White), and 5000K (Daylight). To select your preferred color temperature, locate the small switch on the back of the lampshade and slide it to the desired setting before final installation of the glass cover.
- Āhuahira Moama: The LED light is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the brightness to your preference. This feature requires a compatible dimmer switch (sold separately) installed on your wall.

The LED bulbs in your fan are designed for long life, but if replacement is needed:
- Ensure power to the fan is turned OFF at the circuit breaker.
- Carefully remove the glass cover by rotating it counter-clockwise.
- Unscrew the old LED bulbs and screw in new compatible LED bulbs.
- Reattach the glass cover by aligning the markings and rotating clockwise until secure.
- Restore power to the fan.
