The subwoofer unit houses the main amplifier, control panel, and various input/output ports. It features a 5.25-inch woofer for deep bass.

Kaikorero Satellite
The system includes five 3-inch satellite speakers for surround sound. These speakers connect to the subwoofer unit.

Mana Mamao
The included remote control allows for convenient operation of all system functions from a distance. It requires two AAA batteries (not included).
Tatūnga
1. Te Whakanohonga Kaikorero
- Whakanohoia te reoroto in a central location, preferably on the floor, to optimize bass distribution.
- Tuhia te kaikorero pokapū directly above or below your TV/monitor.
- Whakanohoia te front left and right speakers equidistant from your listening position, to the left and right of your TV.
- Tuhia te rear left and right speakers behind your listening position, facing towards you, to create an immersive surround sound experience.
2. Hononga
Refer to the rear panel diagram for correct connections.

- Tūhono Kaikōrero Taurangi: Connect the five satellite speakers to the corresponding Tuhinga o mua ports on the rear of the subwoofer unit. Ensure correct polarity (red to red, black to black).
- Connect Audio Source (AUX): For general audio devices (e.g., smartphone, tablet, PC), connect the included 3.5mm to RCA audio cable from your device's audio output to the AUX OROONGORANGA INPUT (L/R) ports on the subwoofer.
- Connect DVD Player (5.1 Channel): For a 5.1 channel DVD player or similar device, use the three included DVD connection cables to connect the corresponding outputs from your DVD player to the KORERO ORANGA DVD ports (FL, FR, CEN, SW, SL, SR) on the subwoofer. Match the colors and labels carefully.
- Honoa te Pūihi FM: Insert the FM antenna into the FM ANT port on the rear panel. Extend the antenna for better reception.
- Hononga Hiko: Ensure the power switch on the rear panel is in the WATE position. Connect the power cord to the AC IN port and then plug it into a standard wall outlet.

1. Te Hiko / Whakaweto

2. Tīpakonga Whakauru
Pehia te WHAKATOHU button on the front panel or the remote control repeatedly to cycle through available input modes: Bluetooth (BT), USB, SD, FM, AUX, DVD.
3. Takirua Nihokikorangi
- Tīpakohia BT mode using the INPUT button. The display will show "BT" and flash, indicating it's in pairing mode.

- Select "BFS-5.1" (or similar) from the list. Once paired, the system will confirm with an audible tone, and "BT" will stop flashing.

- The remote control also provides individual volume adjustments for the subwoofer (SW), center (CEN), front left (FL), front right (FR), surround left (SL), and surround right (SR) channels.

The remote control provides comprehensive control over the system:
- Mana: Turns the system on/off (standby).

- FM Functions: Auto scan, Channel selection, Manual tuning.
- EQ: Equalizer presets.
- RUPA: Display brightness/mode.
