The AODELAN E4 requires 2 x AAA batteries. Open the battery compartment located on the side of the unit and insert the batteries, ensuring correct polarity.

The E4 wirelessly synchronizes with AODELAN flashes and compatible Profoto lights. Ensure your flashes are set to the correct channel and group as the E4.

Press and hold the Power Button (usually marked with a power symbol) to turn the unit on or off.
Mode Selection (TTL/Manual)
Use the "MODE" button to switch between TTL (Through-The-Lens, Automatic) and M (Manual) modes. In TTL mode, the camera automatically determines flash output. In Manual mode, you control the flash power.
Adjusting Energy/Flash Power
In Manual mode, use the "ENERGY" adjustment buttons (+/-) to increase or decrease the flash power.

The E4 supports HSS up to 1/8000s. This allows you to use wider apertures in bright conditions or freeze fast motion.
Channel and Group Selection
The E4 supports 8 channels and 3 groups (A/B/C). Use the "CHANNEL" and "GROUP" buttons to select the desired settings. Ensure these match your connected flashes.
