This manual provides comprehensive instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your DIGITUS Gigabit Ethernet Network Card. This PCI Express network card is designed to equip your PC with an additional Gigabit Ethernet port, enabling high-speed data transfer up to 1000 Mbps over existing network cabling. It includes a low-profile slot panel, making it suitable for various computer chassis sizes.

Follow these steps carefully to install your network card:

- Kimihia te Mokamoka PCI Express: Identify an available PCI Express (PCIe) slot on your motherboard. The card requires a PCIe x1 slot or larger (e.g., x4, x8, x16).
- Tangohia te Taupoki Mokowā: Carefully remove the metal slot cover from the back of your computer case corresponding to the chosen PCIe slot. If installing in a small form factor PC, you may need to replace the standard bracket on the network card with the included low-profile tawaho.
- Insert Network Card: Align the network card with the PCIe slot and press it firmly and evenly until it is securely seated. Ensure the bracket is flush with the back of the case.
- Kāri Haumaru: Secure the network card with the screw or latch mechanism provided by your computer case.
- Katia te Kete ka Hono Anō: Replace the computer case side panel and reconnect all cables, including the power cable.
- Whakakāhia, ka Tāutahia ngā Atekōkiri: Power on your computer. Once the operating system loads, insert the provided Support CD-ROM to install the necessary drivers. Once the network card is physically installed and drivers are successfully loaded, you can begin using it:
- Honoa te taura Itarangi: Plug a standard RJ45 Ethernet cable from your network router, switch, or modem into the RJ45 port on the newly installed network card.

- Whirihoranga Whatunga: Your operating system should automatically detect the new network connection. You may need to configure network settings (e.g., IP address, DNS) if your network does not use DHCP.
- Whakamatau Hononga: Tuwhera a web browser or use network diagnostic tools to confirm internet access and network connectivity.

The DIGITUS Gigabit Ethernet Network Card is designed for reliable operation with minimal maintenance. However, consider the following:
