2. Nga Tohutohu Haumaru Nui
Kia mau tonu te haumaru i te wā e whakamahi ana i ngā taputapu hiko. Pānuihia, kia mārama hoki ki ngā tohutohu katoa i mua i te whakamahinga.
- Parenga Haumaru Rua: The trimmer features a double lock design, including a child safety lock and a security key. Ensure the security key is inserted and the safety lock is engaged before operation.
- Whakahaere Mata: Blades are sharp. Always handle them with care. Use the provided blade covers when storing the tool or changing blades.
- Whakakapinga Mata: Blades can be replaced quickly and safely without tools. Refer to the 'Blade Installation/Removal' section for detailed steps.
- Tiaki: After each use, clean the blades thoroughly and keep them dry during storage to ensure a longer lifespan.
- Whakamahere Haumaru: Use only a 5V/1A charger (not included) with the provided USB Type-C cable. Do not attempt to charge with damaged cables or chargers.
- Whakamahinga Whānui: Keep hands, face, and feet away from the blades. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses and gloves.

3. Tatūnga
3.1 Te Whakataki i te Pūhiko
The WORKPRO trimmer is powered by a long-life 2000mAh lithium-ion battery. Before first use, fully charge the battery.
- Connect the provided USB Type-C cable to the charging port on the back of the trimmer.
- Plug the USB-A end of the cable into a 5V/1A USB charger (not included).
- The charger LED indicator will illuminate during charging.
- Tata ki te 2.5-3.5 haora te utu katoa.
- For optimal battery life, recharge the trimmer every 3-6 months if it is not used often.

3.2 Tāutanga/Tangohanga o te Mata
The 2-in-1 design allows for quick and easy switching between the grass shear and shrubbery trimmer blades.
- Ensure the trimmer is OFF and the security key is removed before changing blades.
- To remove a blade: Press the blade release button located on the top of the trimmer and gently pull the blade attachment away from the main unit.
- To install a blade: Align the new blade attachment with the main unit, ensuring the gear mechanism fits correctly. Push firmly until it clicks into place.

4. Nga Tohutohu Whakahaere
4.1 Kei te Hiko / Weto
- Ensure the security key is fully inserted into its slot at the back of the handle.
- Press and hold the safety lock button (located on the side of the main unit).
- While holding the safety lock, press the ON/OFF switch (trigger) to start the trimmer.
- Release the ON/OFF switch to turn the trimmer off.
4.2 Using the Grass Shear Blade
Attach the 3.5-inch wide grass shear blade for precision trimming of grass edges and small areas your mower cannot reach.
- Ideal for trimming around flowerbeds, pathways, and fences.
- Provides approximately 60 minutes of operation on a full charge.

4.3 Using the Shrubbery Trimmer Blade
Attach the 5.5-inch long shrub shear blade for grooming hedges and pruning small branches.
- Suitable for branches less than 7.8mm in thickness.
- Provides approximately 45 minutes of operation on a full charge.

4.4 Rotatable Handle Design
The handle can be adjusted 180° to provide a comfortable gripping posture when trimming the left or right side of hedges, reducing fatigue during extended use.
- To adjust the handle, locate the handle rotation button (usually near the base of the handle).
- Press the button and rotate the handle to your desired angle (0°, 90°, or 180°).

5. Tiaki
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your trimmer.
- Whakapai Mata: After each use, especially when trimming sap-producing plants, clean the blades thoroughly. Use a damp cloth to wipe off debris, then dry completely.
- Rokiroki: Store the trimmer in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Always attach the blade covers before storage to prevent accidental injury and protect the blades.
- Tiaki Pūhiko: If the trimmer is not used often, recharge the lithium-ion battery every 3-6 months to prolong its life.
