  2. Whakauruhia nga Pataha: Open the battery compartment on the underside of the scale. Insert 2 AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the compartment securely.
  3. Turanga: Place the scale on a hard, flat, and stable surface. Avoid carpets, rugs, or uneven flooring, as this can affect accuracy.
  4. Whakaritenga Tuatahi: For the first use or after moving the scale, step on it briefly to turn it on, then step off. The display will show '0.0' or a similar reading, indicating it's ready for use.

  1. Hipanga ki runga: Gently step onto the center of the scale with bare feet. The scale will automatically turn on and begin measuring your weight.

  3. Ignore First Reading: It is recommended to ignore the very first reading after the scale has been moved or if it has been off for a long time. Step off and then step on again for the most accurate measurement.
  4. Whakaatu Mōhiohio: The backlit LCD will show your weight, and may also display the room temperature.
