5. Tatūnga

5.1 Tāuta Pūhiko

The device uses a rechargeable battery. Ensure the battery is fully charged before first use. Insert the battery into the designated compartment according to the polarity markings.

5.2 Mounting as a Clip-on Device

The NV007V is designed to attach to the eyepiece of your existing riflescope.

  1. Prepare your riflescope: Wrap PVC insulating tape around the eyepiece of your riflescope to ensure a snug fit and protect the scope's finish. Choose the appropriate sleeve ring from the included adapter rings that best fits your riflescope's eyepiece diameter.
  2. Attach the adapter: Secure the chosen adapter ring to the eyepiece of your riflescope.
  3. Connect the NV007V: Slide the Pard NV007V-850nm onto the adapter ring.
  4. Whakaorangia te taputapu: Tighten the screws on the adapter to firmly secure the NV007V to your riflescope. Ensure the reticle of your scope is upright and centered on the NV007V's display for optimal alignment.

6.2 Day and Night Modes

The device automatically adjusts to ambient light conditions. For optimal night performance, activate the IR illuminator.

6.3 Topa Mamati

Use the +/- buttons to adjust the digital magnification from 1.5x to 3.5x. This allows for closer inspection of targets without distortion.

6.4 Infrared (IR) Illuminator

Press the IR button to cycle through different IR intensity levels. The 850nm wavelength provides a brighter illumination for longer distances, while the 940nm (if available on your model) offers a more discreet, red-exposure-free option.

Press the Photo/Video button to capture still images or start/stop video recording. The device supports full HD video recording (1440*1080 resolution) and high-resolution images (1440*1080). Ensure a MicroSD card is inserted for storage.

6.6 Hononga Wi-Fi

The built-in Wi-Fi allows you to connect the monocular to your smartphone, tablet, or PC. This enables real-time viewing on a larger screen and easy transfer of captured media. Refer to the quick start guide for specific app installation and connection instructions. The default Wi-Fi password is typically 12345678.
