The VAVA Baby Monitor system consists of a parent unit (monitor) and one or more camera units. The parent unit features a high-resolution IPS screen for clear viewing, while the camera units are equipped with night vision capabilities and a wide viewkoki.

Tatūnga

- Honoa te Mana o te Kāmera: Connect the power adapter to each camera unit and a power outlet. The camera will automatically power on.
- Power On the Parent Unit: Press and hold the power button on the parent unit until the screen turns on. The monitor should automatically connect to the camera(s). If multiple cameras are used, they should appear in split-screen mode or can be cycled through.
- Whakaritea te Whakanoho: Adjust the camera angle as needed using the pan and tilt controls on the parent unit (if available) or by manually repositioning the camera.

Parent Unit Controls:
- Pātene Hiko: Press and hold to turn the unit on or off. Press briefly to turn the screen on/off while the unit remains active.
- Mana Rōrahi: Use dedicated buttons or navigate through the menu to adjust the audio volume.
- Mana Tirohanga: Adjust screen brightness via the menu settings.
- MENU Pātene: Access the main menu for settings such as camera management, alarm, temperature unit, and general settings.
- Pātene TOA: Press to digitally zoom in on the video feed. Press again to zoom out or cycle through zoom levels.
- AUTO-PILOT/OK Button: I roto i te kamera kotahi view, this may activate auto-pilot mode (cycling through cameras) or confirm selections in the menu.
- Pātene KORERO: Press and hold to activate two-way audio, allowing you to speak to your baby through the camera's speaker.
- Patene Whakaterenga: Use directional buttons (Up, Down, Left, Right) to navigate menus and pan/tilt the camera (if supported).

- Mata Ritua View: When two cameras are connected, the monitor can display both feeds simultaneously on a split screen. This allows monitoring of two different areas or children at once.
- Ororongo Ara-rua: Press and hold the TALK button on the parent unit to speak to your baby through the camera's built-in speaker. Release the button to hear your baby.
- Tirohanga Pō Aunoa: The camera automatically switches to infrared night vision in low-light conditions, providing a clear black-and-white image of your baby.
- Te aro turuki i te pāmahana: The camera unit includes a temperature sensor, and the current room temperature is displayed on the parent unit screen.
- Ngā Tohu LED Whakahohe Oro: LED lights on the parent unit may indicate the level of sound detected by the camera, even if the volume is low or muted.
