Follow these steps to set up and install your SMALLRIG Camera Mount Clamp:

  1. Attach the Ballhead Magic Arm: Securely screw the ballhead magic arm into the main crab-shaped clamp. Ensure it is tightened firmly.
  2. Attach the Action Camera Adapter (Optional): If using an action camera, attach the provided action camera adapter to the 1/4"-20 screw on the ballhead magic arm.
  3. Whakatuwherahia te Clamp kauae: Rotate the large knob on the crab-shaped clamp counter-clockwise to open the jaw to the desired width.

The jaw can grip objects with a diameter between 0.55 inches (14mm) and 2.36 inches (60mm), and flat surfaces up to 2.55 inches (65mm) thick. Common mounting points include round pipes, tables, handlebars, tripods, and stabilizer handheld rings.
  5. Whakaorangia te Clamp: Rotate the large knob clockwise to tighten the clamp firmly onto the surface. The built-in anti-slip pads will help ensure a secure grip.
  6. Adjust Ball Heads: Use the thumb lever on the ballhead magic arm to adjust the angle and position of your attached device. The 360-degree rotation allows for flexible positioning. Tighten the lever to lock the ball heads in place.
