The Fenton SHFB65 speakers are designed to deliver high-fidelity audio, suitable for various applications including home stereo systems and home cinema setups. These passive speakers require an external ampkaiwhakarewa mo te mahi.

2. Nga korero haumaru
To reduce the risk of electric shock, fire, or damage to the equipment, please observe the following safety precautions:
- Puna Hiko: These are passive speakers and do not connect directly to a mains power outlet. They must be connected to an appropriate audio ampkaikawe

4. Nga Hua o te Hua
The Fenton SHFB65 speakers incorporate several design elements for optimal audio reproduction:
- Pūnaha Kaikorero-2 Ara: Each speaker features a 6.5-inch woofer for low and mid-range frequencies and a 3-inch tweeter for clear high frequencies.
- Bass-Reflex Design: An integrated bass-reflex port on the rear of the cabinet enhances low-frequency response, providing deeper bass.
- Gold-Plated Screw Terminals: High-quality gold-plated screw terminals ensure a secure connection and optimal signal transfer from your ampkaikawe
- Waewae Rubber Anti-Slip: Rubber feet are included on the base of each speaker to provide stability and minimize vibrations.
- Hanga Roa: The speaker cabinets are constructed from wood, contributing to acoustic performance and durability.

5. Tatūnga
Proper setup is crucial for optimal sound quality and speaker longevity. These speakers are passive and require an external ampkaikawe
5.1 Whakanoho
- Place the speakers on a stable, flat surface at ear level when seated.
- For stereo imaging, position the speakers equidistant from your listening position and spaced appropriately apart.
- Avoid placing speakers directly against a wall if possible, especially due to the rear bass-reflex port, to prevent excessive bass resonance. A distance of 10-30 cm from the wall is often ideal.
5.2 Te hono atu ki tētahi Ampkaikawe
The Fenton SHFB65 speakers connect to your ampte kaiwhakaora mā te whakamahi i te waea kaikorero. Kia tino mohio koe ampKa wetohia te riipene i mua i te hono atu.
- Whakaritea te Waea Pūoro: Strip approximately 1-2 cm of insulation from both ends of your speaker wire. Twist the exposed strands tightly to prevent stray wires.
- Tūhono ki ngā Kaikōrero: Unscrew the gold-plated terminals on the back of each SHFB65 speaker. Insert the exposed speaker wire into the hole, ensuring that the positive (+) wire (often marked with red or a stripe) connects to the red terminal and the negative (-) wire (often marked with black or plain) connects to the black terminal. Tighten the terminals securely.
- Hono atu ki AmpKaiwhakaora: Connect the other end of the speaker wire to the corresponding speaker output terminals on your amplifier. Again, ensure positive (+) connects to positive (+) and negative (-) connects to negative (-). Maintain consistent polarity for both speakers.

Hiranga: Incorrect polarity (e.g., positive to negative) will result in poor sound quality, particularly weak bass. Always double-check your connections.
6. Nga Tohutohu Whakahaere
Once the speakers are correctly connected to your ampKaiwhakaora:
- Me whakarite kia mau nga hononga katoa.
- Hurihia to ampkaikawe
- Tīpakohia te pūtake oro e hiahiatia ana i runga i tō ampkaikawe
- Start playing audio at a low volume and gradually increase it to your preferred listening level.
The volume and tone controls (bass/treble) are managed via your connected ampkaiwhakaoho, puna ororongo ranei.
7. Tiaki
To ensure the longevity and performance of your Fenton SHFB65 speakers, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Te horoi: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the speaker cabinets. Do not use liquid cleaners, aerosols, or abrasive materials, as these can damage the finish.
