Follow these steps to set up your Cudy M1300 Mesh WiFi System.

4.1. Initial Setup (Main Unit)

  1. Wewete: Remove one Cudy M1300 unit from its packaging. This will be your main unit.
  2. Hono ki te Pouwhanga: Connect one end of the provided Ethernet cable to any LAN port on your existing modem or router, and the other end to either Gigabit Ethernet port on the Cudy M1300 main unit.
  3. Whakahiko: Connect the power adapter to the main unit's power port and plug it into an electrical outlet. The LED indicator will light up.
  4. Taria mō te Whakatinanatanga: Allow the unit a few minutes to boot up. The LED indicator will change color or pattern to indicate readiness (refer to LED status section in the full manual for details).
  5. Tūhono ki Wi-Fi: On your smartphone or computer, connect to the default Wi-Fi network name (SSID) printed on the label at the bottom of the main unit. Enter the default password if prompted.
  6. Urunga Web Interface/App: Tuwhera a web pūtirotiro me te whakatere ki http://cudy.net or download the Cudy app. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the initial setup, including setting a new Wi-Fi name and password.

4.2. Adding Satellite Units

  1. Turanga: Place the remaining Cudy M1300 units (satellite units) in locations where you need extended Wi-Fi coverage. Ensure they are within range of the main unit or another satellite unit for optimal signal strength.

  3. Takirua Aunoa: The satellite units will automatically detect and pair with the main unit, extending your mesh network. The LED indicator will confirm successful connection.
