4. Tohutohu Tatūnga
Follow these steps to connect your Waveshare 10.1-inch display to your device.

4.1 General Connection Steps
- Honoa taura HDMI: Connect one end of the HDMI cable to the display's HDMI port and the other end to your host device (Raspberry Pi, Jetson Nano, PC).
- Connect USB Cable for Touch: Connect the USB Type-C cable to the display's touch port and the other end to a USB port on your host device. This provides power for the display and enables touch functionality.
- Tuku Hiko: Ensure your host device is powered on. The display typically draws power via the USB connection. For some setups, an external 5V power supply might be required for the host device.
- Ororongo (Kōwhiringa): If using external speakers, connect them to the 3.5mm audio jack or the 4PIN speaker header on the display.
4.2 Specific Device Connections
- Raspberry Pi Zero Series: Additional mini HDMI adapter and USB cable may be required for connection. Ensure adequate power supply (e.g., 5V/2.5A).
- Jetson Nano: Connect via HDMI for display and USB for touch. Ensure the Jetson Nano has sufficient power (e.g., 5V/4A).
- PC: Connect via HDMI for display and USB for touch. The display supports 10-point touch on Windows operating systems without additional drivers.
5. Nga Tohutohu Whakahaere
5.1 Mahi Taketake
Once connected, the display should automatically detect the video signal from your host device. The touch functionality will be active upon connection to a compatible operating system.

5.2 Mahi Pā
The display supports capacitive touch input. The number of touch points recognized (single-point or 10-point) depends on the operating system of your host device. For Windows and Raspberry Pi OS, 10-point touch is typically supported.

5.3 Whakatikatika Tahua OSD
The included button board allows you to access and navigate the On-Screen Display (OSD) menu. This menu provides options to adjust various display settings:

- Mana Mana: Turn the display on/off or manage power-saving modes.

6. Tiaki
