- Whakapaia te Tauwāhi Whakapuru: Ensure the electrical box is securely attached to the building structure and can support the fan's weight.
- Tāutahia te Taiapa Whakapuru: Āpitihia te whāriki whakairi ki te pouaka hiko mā te whakamahi i ngā tīwiri me ngā whakakā kua whakaratohia.
- Hononga Waea: Connect the fan's electrical wires to the household wiring according to local electrical codes. Typically, this involves connecting live, neutral, and ground wires. Use the provided wire nuts and ensure all connections are secure.
- Secure the Fan Motor Housing: Lift the fan motor housing and secure it to the mounting bracket. The Newsome fan features a flush mount design, attaching directly to the ceiling.
- Whakapirihia nga Matatahi Kiritaki: Secure each of the five fan blades to the blade irons, then attach the blade irons to the motor housing. Ensure all screws are tightened. The blades are reversible, offering a matte black or wood grain finish.

6. Nga Tohutohu Whakahaere
Your Hunter Newsome ceiling fan is controlled by two pull chains.
