Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Place the Charging Dock in an area with good Wi-Fi coverage, on a level hard surface, and against a wall. Ensure there is clear space around the dock for the robot to maneuver.

2. Te Whakataki i te Robot

Connect the North American Line Cord to the Charging Dock and plug it into a wall outlet. Place the Braava jet m6 onto the charging contacts of the dock. The light ring on the robot will indicate charging status. Allow the robot to fully charge before its first use.

3. Whakaki i te Tank

Open the lid on top of the robot to access the water tank. Remove the tank and fill it with water. For a fresh scent, you may add Braava jet Hard Floor Cleaning Solution as directed. Reinsert the tank securely into the robot.

4. Te tāpiri i te Mop Pad

The robot uses different pad types for wet mopping and dry sweeping. Select the appropriate pad (e.g., reusable wet mopping pad or single-use dry sweeping pad). Slide the pad into the slot on the underside of the robot until it clicks into place. The robot intelligently detects the pad type and adjusts its cleaning mode accordingly.

Operating the Braava Jet m6

Press the CLEAN button on the robot or use the iRobot Home App to start a cleaning cycle. The robot will begin to map and clean your home in neat, efficient rows. It is designed for multiple rooms and larger spaces, navigating around objects and under furniture.

2. Smart Mapping and Navigation

The Braava jet m6 utilizes vSLAM navigation to learn the layout of your home and build personal Smart Maps. These maps allow you to define specific cleaning areas, set Keep Out Zones (e.g., around pet bowls or play areas), and customize cleaning preferences through the iRobot Home App.

3. Using the iRobot Home App and Voice Control

The iRobot Home App provides complete control over your cleaning. You can schedule cleanings, select specific rooms or zones to clean, and adjust spray levels and cleaning passes. The m6 is compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, allowing for hands-free control. For example, you can say, "Alexa, tell Braava to mop in front of the kitchen counter."

4. Imprint Link Technology

For a comprehensive clean, the Braava jet m6 can team up with select Roomba robot vacuums using Imprint Link Technology. This allows the vacuum to clean first, followed automatically by the mop, ensuring your floors are thoroughly cleaned in sequence.

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance of your Braava jet m6 robot mop.

After each wet mopping cycle, remove the mop pad. If using a reusable pad, wash it thoroughly with water and mild detergent. Allow the pad to air dry completely before reattaching or storing to prevent odors. Disposable pads should be discarded after use.

2. Emptying and Refilling the Tank

Periodically empty any remaining solution from the tank and rinse it with clean water. Refill the tank with fresh water and cleaning solution before each mopping session.
