Designed and manufactured in Italy, this manual espresso machine features a Thermoblock heating system for rapid heating and precise temperature control, a 15-bar pump for optimal extraction, and a 51mm stainless steel portafilter compatible with both ground coffee and paper pods. Its compact design includes a removable drip tray for easy cleaning.
The ECF02CREU is engineered to deliver authentic Italian espresso, offering quick controls for single, double, or long shots, and includes a steam wand for frothing milk.

3. Waenga Hua

4. Tatūnga

5.1 Hanga Espresso
- Whakawera-mua: Ensure the machine is heated (indicator lights are steady). Place your espresso cup on the cup warmer or rinse it with hot water.

- For ground coffee: Insert the appropriate filter basket (single or double) into the portafilter. Fill with finely ground espresso coffee and tamp evenly. Wipe any excess coffee from the rim.
- For paper pods: Insert the pod filter basket. Place a paper pod into the basket.
- Kōkuhu Tātari Kōpaki: Tiarohia te kaitakawaenga ki te upoko roopu, ka whiria ki te taha matau kia raka pai.
- Brew Espresso: Place your pre-heated cup(s) under the portafilter spouts. Press the single or double espresso button on the control panel. The machine will dispense the programmed amount of espresso.
- Tango Portafilter: Once brewing is complete, carefully twist the portafilter to the left to remove it. Dispose of the used coffee grounds/pod.


5.2 Te Miraka Huka

- Whakahohe Steam: Press the steam button on the control panel. Wait for the steam indicator light to become steady, indicating the machine has reached steaming temperature.

- Miraka Huka: Immerse the tip of the steam wand just below the surface of the milk. Open the steam knob. Angle the pitcher to create a swirling motion. As the milk expands, lower the pitcher slightly to keep the tip just below the surface.
- Miraka wera: Once desired foam is achieved, immerse the wand deeper into the milk to heat it to the desired temperature (typically 60-70°C / 140-160°F).
- Mutu: Close the steam knob, remove the pitcher, and immediately wipe the steam wand with a damp he kakahu kia kore e maroke te toenga miraka.

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your espresso machine.
