4. Tatūnga
4.1 Te Whakaekea me te Whakanoho
Before first use, fully charge the 4.0Ah battery pack.
- Insert the 4.0Ah battery pack into the fast charger. The indicator light on the charger will show the charging status. A full charge takes approximately 2 hours.
- Once charged, align the battery pack with the base of the saw handle and slide it in until it clicks securely into place.

4.2 Tāuta Mata

- Dust Extraction Tube: Attach the dust extraction tube to the dust extraction port on the saw. For optimal dust collection, connect the tube to a vacuum cleaner using a suitable adapter.
- Aratohu Whakarara: Insert the parallel guide into the designated slot on the base plate. Adjust to the desired cutting width and secure with the locking bolt for precise straight cuts.

To start the saw, press the safety lock-off switch, then squeeze the ON/OFF trigger. Release the trigger to stop the saw.

- Te tapahi hohonu: Loosen the depth locking knob. Adjust the base plate to achieve the desired cutting depth (maximum 1-11/16" at 90°). Tighten the depth locking knob securely.
- Cutting Angle (Bevel): Loosen the angle locking knob. Tilt the base plate to the desired cutting angle (0° to 45°). Tighten the angle locking knob securely.

5.3 Using the Laser Guide for Precision
Activate the laser guide by pressing the switch on the laser module. Align the laser line with your cutting mark for precise straight cuts.

5.4 Dust Extraction During Operation
The included dust extraction tube helps maintain a clean work environment by directing sawdust away from the cutting line.

- Wood/Plastic: Use the 24T alloy blade or the 60T blade.
- Tire: Use the diamond blade.
- Soft Metals: The saw is capable of cutting soft metals. Use the appropriate blade for the specific soft metal.

6. Tiaki
