Te Whakatau Pahiko
The WORKPRO 12V Cordless Grass Shear & Shrubbery Trimmer comes with a 2.0Ah Lithium-Ion battery and a 1-hour fast charger. Ensure the battery is fully charged before first use and whenever the battery capacity indicator shows low charge.

The 2-in-1 design allows for quick and tool-free switching between the grass shear and hedge trimmer blades.
- Hei Tango i te Mata: Ensure the battery is removed. Press the blade release button (refer to Figure 2) and slide the blade assembly away from the tool.
- Hei Tāuta i te Mata: Ensure the battery is removed. Align the new blade assembly with the tool's slot, ensuring the gear mechanism is properly seated. Push the blade firmly into place until it clicks securely.

Nga Tohutohu Whakahaere
Before operating, ensure the battery is fully charged and the correct blade is securely installed.
Te Timata me te Whakamutu i te Utauta
The tool features a top safety lock to prevent accidental startup. To operate:
- Push the top safety lock button (refer to Figure 2).
- While holding the safety lock, press the ON/OFF switch (trigger) to start the blades. You can release the safety lock after the machine starts, only pressing and holding the ON/OFF switch.
- To stop the tool, release the ON/OFF switch.

Te Whakamahi i te Mata Kutikuti Tarutaru
The grass shear blade (4.92" / 125mm max cutting width) is designed for precise trimming of lawn edges and small grass areas.
- Attach the grass shear blade as described in the "Blade Installation" section.
- Hold the tool firmly and guide the blade along the desired cutting line.
- Move the tool steadily to achieve an even cut.

Te Whakamahi i te Mata Kutikuti Hedge
The hedge trimmer blade (6.30" / 160mm max cutting length, 0.30" / 7.7mm max cutting thickness) is suitable for shaping hedges, shrubs, and trimming small branches.
- Attach the hedge trimmer blade as described in the "Blade Installation" section.
- Hold the tool with both hands if necessary for better control, especially for larger tasks.
- Guide the blade along the hedge or shrub, maintaining a consistent angle for an even finish.
- Avoid cutting branches thicker than the specified maximum cutting thickness.

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your tool.
- Whakapai Mata: After each use, clean both the grass shear and hedge trimmer blades. Remove any sap, debris, or grass clippings. Use a damp kakahu me te horoi ngawari ki te tika.
- Whakahinuhinu Mata: To prevent rust and ensure smooth operation, apply a light coat of machine oil to the blades after cleaning, especially before storing for extended periods.
- Rokiroki: Store the tool and blades in a dry condition. Keep the tool in a safe place, out of reach of children.
- Tiaki Pūhiko: If the cordless grass trimmer is not used often, recharge the battery every 3-6 months to prolong its life.
