4. Tatūnga
4.1 Tāutanga/Tangohanga o te Mata

- Locate the FastFix spindle lock button. Press and hold it to lock the saw blade in place.
- Use the provided hex key (stored on the tool) to loosen the blade retaining screw.

- Tighten the blade retaining screw firmly while holding the spindle lock.

4.2 Connecting to a Guide Rail
The TS 60 KEB-F-Plus is designed for use with Festool guide rails (sold separately) for precise, straight cuts. Simply align the saw's base with the guide rail and slide it into position. The saw will securely engage with the rail.
4.3 Dust Extraction Setup
Connect a Festool dust extractor to the dust extraction port on the saw to minimize sawdust and maintain a clean work environment. This saw is designed for highly efficient dust collection.
5. Nga Tohutohu Whakahaere
5.1 Setting Cutting Depth
Adjust the cutting depth using the depth adjustment lever. The scale allows for precise setting of the desired depth, up to 2-7/16 inches (62 mm).

For angled cuts, loosen the bevel adjustment knobs (one at the front, one at the back) and tilt the saw base to the desired angle between -1° and 47°. Tighten the knobs securely before cutting.

5.3 Engaging Kickback Stop
The Kickback Stop feature is activated by a dedicated button on the saw. Ensure it is engaged for maximum safety, especially during plunge cuts or when working with materials prone to kickback. This system actively reduces the risk of the saw kicking back towards the user.

5.4 Whakahaere Tere
The saw features variable speed control to match the cutting speed to the material. Adjust the speed dial according to the material being cut for optimal results and to prevent overheating of the blade or motor.

6. Tiaki
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your Festool TS 60 KEB-F-Plus.
- Te horoi: After each use, clean the saw body, blade guard, and dust extraction port. Remove any sawdust or debris.
