Carefully remove the dehumidifier from its packaging. Place the unit upright on a level, stable surface in the desired location. Ensure there is at least 8 inches of space around the unit for proper air circulation. This dehumidifier is designed for residential use in areas like basements, garages, living rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms, attics, and laundry rooms.

2. Hononga Mana
Plug the dehumidifier into a standard 115V electrical outlet. Ensure the outlet is properly grounded and can support the unit's wattage (515 watts).
3. Kōwhiringa Whakaheke Wai
The unit offers two primary methods for water removal:
- Water Bucket (Manual Emptying): The dehumidifier comes with a 1.8-gallon (14.4 pints) water tank. When the tank is full, the unit will alert you and automatically shut off to prevent overflow. Simply remove the bucket, empty the water, and reinsert it to resume operation.
- Continuous Drain (Hose Connection): For continuous, hands-off operation, you can connect a standard garden hose (not included) to the continuous drain port on the back of the unit. Ensure the hose leads to a low-level drain, such as a floor drain or sump pump, allowing gravity to remove the collected water. The unit includes a threaded adaptor with a small internal drain hose for this purpose.

4. Kawe
The dehumidifier is equipped with four durable, omni-directional caster wheels. To move the unit, simply push or pull it to the desired location. Always ensure the unit is unplugged before moving it over long distances or uneven surfaces.

6. Full Bucket Alert and Auto Shut-Off
The dehumidifier is equipped with a Full Bucket alert. When the water tank reaches its capacity, an indicator light will illuminate, and the unit will automatically shut off to prevent spills and overflowing. Empty the water bucket and reinsert it to resume operation.
