The OPTIMA D200+ is a 12V performance battery maintainer and charger designed for various battery types, including Lithium (LiFePO4), AGM, and standard Flooded batteries. Tatūnga
Te hono ki te Pūhiko
- Ensure the OPTIMA D200+ is disconnected from AC power.
- Whakauruhia te whero pai (+) clamp ki te tauranga pai (+) o te pākahiko.
- Hono i te pango kino (-) clamp to the negative (-) terminal of the battery. For vehicle applications, if the battery is installed in the vehicle, connect the black negative (-) clamp ki te tahuhu waka, paraka miihini ranei mai i te pākahiko.
- Kotahi te clamps are securely connected, plug the AC power cord into a standard electrical outlet.

Whakapiri Taiepa (Kōwhiringa)
The D200+ can be mounted using the provided wall organizer bracket. Secure the bracket to a suitable surface using appropriate mounting hardware (not included). The charger unit then slides into the bracket for secure storage.

Power On and Initial Status
Once connected to both the battery and AC power, the charger will power on. The "Power" LED will illuminate, and the "Connected" LED will turn green if the connection is successful.
Tīpakonga Momo Pūhiko
The D200+ supports three battery types: OPTIMA LiFePO4, AGM, and Flooded. Press the "Select" button (located near the battery type indicators) to cycle through the options until the correct battery type is illuminated.

Pre-Charge Battery Test
Before charging, you can perform a pre-charge battery test. Press the "Test" button to view the current battery charge level on the dual-function battery gauge. This gauge displays the charge percentage mai i te 0% ki te 100%.

Charging Process and Status Indicators
Once the battery type is selected, the D200+ will automatically begin the charging process. The 4-color Charge Mode Status LED bar will indicate the current charging phase:
- Tātari: Blue pulsing light.
- Utu: Maama whero totoka.
- Whakahau: Solid amber light.
- Pupuri Aunoa: Maama kaakaariki totoka.
- Hapa: OFF (no light).
The charger will transition to "Auto Maintain" mode once the battery is fully charged, ensuring optimal battery health without overcharging.
Te tiaki

- Regularly inspect the AC power cord and DC output cables for any signs of damage, cuts, or fraying. Do not use the charger if cables are damaged.

- Ensure battery terminals are clean and free of corrosion before connecting the charger.
