3.1. Tāutanga Tinana
- Whakapiki: The Z-N976 is designed to fit standard 2-DIN slots. Use the provided mounting frame to secure the unit in the vehicle's dashboard.
- Ngā Hononga Hiko me te Pūoro: Connect the main 16-pin, 24-pin, and 20-pin connection cables to the corresponding ports on the unit and the vehicle's wiring harness. Ensure correct polarity for all power and speaker connections.
- Hononga Antenna: Connect the GPS antenna and Bluetooth antenna to their respective ports on the rear of the unit. Position the antennas in a location that provides clear signal reception, away from metal obstructions.

4.2. Radio Functions (DAB+/FM)
- DAB+ Tuner: Select the DAB+ source to access digital radio stations. The dual DAB+ tuner ensures stable reception. Scan for available stations and save your favorites.
- Radio Irirangi: Switch to FM mode for analog radio. Use the auto-scan function to find stations or manually tune to a specific frequency.
4.3. Media Playback (USB, iPod/iPhone)
- USB Media: Connect USB storage devices to the provided USB ports. The system supports various audio and video formats. Browse files and folders directly on the touchscreen.

4.5. Smartphone Integration (Android Auto & Apple CarPlay)
The Z-N976 supports wireless Android Auto and wireless Apple CarPlay. Connect your compatible smartphone via Wi-Fi to access navigation, communication, and entertainment apps directly on the unit's screen.
- Hononga Ahokore: Ensure Wi-Fi is enabled on your smartphone and the Z-N976. Follow the pairing instructions on the unit's screen.

4.6. Tautuhinga Ororongo

4.7. Navigation (Optional)
The Z-N976 can be extended with dedicated navigation packages:
- Z-EMAP76PC-NNG3 (Car Version): Provides navigation for cars with maps of over 40 EU countries and an extensive Point of Interest (POI) database.
- Z-EMAP76MH-TT3 (Motorhome Version): Tailored for motorhomes, this package includes a Camping POI database, FREEONTOUR/Send-To-Car function, and allows for vehicle profile selection and input of vehicle-specific data (e.g., dimensions, weight) for optimized routing.
