5. Tatūnga
5.1 Te Whakanoho Tuatahi
Place the humidifier on a flat, stable surface. Ensure it is not near heat sources or direct sunlight. Maintain adequate space around the unit for optimal mist dispersion.
5.2 Whakaki i te Taaka Wai

- Pour clean, cool tap water or distilled water directly into the water tank through the large top opening. Do not exceed the maximum water level indicator.

5.3 Aroma Diffuser Setup
- Locate the aroma tray on the side of the humidifier base.
- Pull out the aroma tray.
- Add a few drops of your preferred essential oil onto the included aroma pad. Alternatively, use the provided lavender scented pad.
- Insert the aroma pad back into the tray and slide the tray back into the humidifier.
Tuhipoka: Do not add essential oils directly into the water tank, as this can damage the unit.

6.1 Power On/Off and Mist Level Adjustment

- Turn the control knob clockwise to power on the humidifier and adjust the mist output from minimum to maximum.
- Turn the control knob counter-clockwise to the 'OFF' position to power off the humidifier.
6.2 Mahi Maama Po
Press the night light button to turn the blue night light on or off. This feature can be used independently of the mist function.

The humidifier is equipped with an automatic shut-off feature that activates when the water level is too low, preventing damage to the unit and ensuring safety.

7.2 Descaling (Weekly or Bi-weekly, depending on water hardness)

- Use a soft brush or cloth to clean any mineral buildup.
- Empty the vinegar and rinse all components thoroughly with clean water until the vinegar smell is gone.
7.3 Aroma Pad Replacement
Replace the aroma pad when the scent diminishes or if you wish to change essential oils. Additional aroma pads are available for purchase.
