This versatile timer is designed for ease of use, featuring a large, bright display, adjustable sound and brightness, and multiple placement options. It is ideal for various activities including cooking, studying, fitness, and classroom management. This manual will guide you through the setup, operation, and maintenance of your new timer.

2. Tatūnga
2.1 Tāuta Pūhiko
Your VOCOO Digital Timer requires three (3) AAA batteries (included). To install or replace batteries:
- Locate the kickstand on the back of the timer.
- Flip up the kickstand.
- Kiriata whakatuwherahia te taupoki wehenga puhiko.
- Whakauruhia nga pākahiko AAA e toru, kia tika te polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment cover and fold the kickstand back into place if not in use.
A low power icon will appear on the display to remind you when batteries need to be changed.

2.2 Kōwhiringa Whakanoho
The VOCOO timer offers versatile placement options:
- aukume: The strong magnetic back with rubber pads allows you to attach the timer securely to metal surfaces like refrigerators, ovens, or whiteboards without scratching.
- Tu Papamahi: Utilize the sturdy, foldable kickstand for convenient placement on any flat surface, such as a countertop, desk, or table.
- Iri: A small hanging hole is provided for hanging the timer on a hook.

3. Nga Tohutohu Whakahaere
The timer features intuitive buttons for easy operation:

- M (Minute) Button: Press to set minutes. Each press increases the minute count by one.
- S (Second) Button: Press to set seconds. Each press increases the second count by one.
- PATU MAA: Press to reset the timer to 00:00.
- SP/ST (Start/Pause) Button: Pēhia hei tīmata, hei whakamutu rānei i te taima.
3.1 Count Down Function
- Pehia te M a S buttons to set your desired countdown time (up to 99 minutes and 59 seconds).
- Pehia te SP/ST te paatene hei timata i te tatau.
- Hei whakamutu i te tatau iho, pēhi SP/ST ano. Perehi SP/ST ki te whakaara ano.
- When the countdown reaches zero, the alarm will sound (if not muted) and the display will blink.
- Pehia te MAMAMA button to stop the alarm and reset the timer.
Mahi Mahara: The timer remembers the last set countdown time. If you press MAMAMA after an alarm, the display will return to the last set time, allowing for quick reuse.
3.2 Count Up Function (Stopwatch)
- Ensure the timer is reset to 00:00 by pressing the MAMAMA pātene.
- Pehia te SP/ST button to start counting up from 00:00.
- Hei whakamutu i te tatau-ake, pēhi SP/ST ano. Perehi SP/ST ki te whakaara ano.
- Hei tautuhi i te maataki kati, pehia te MAMAMA pātene.
4. Nga ahuatanga
4.1 Whakaaturanga Nui
The timer features a large 4-inch screen with 1.3-inch tall bright numbers, ensuring excellent visibility from a distance and various angles.
4.2 Ngā Taumata Kōkaha
A slide switch on the side of the timer allows you to select between two brightness modes:
- Aratau Maama: The display remains continuously bright while the timer is running.
- Aratau ECO: The display will dim after 5 seconds of inactivity to conserve battery life. It will brighten again when a button is pressed or the alarm sounds.
It is recommended to use ECO mode for extended battery life.

4.3 Reanga Reanga
Another slide switch on the side controls the alarm volume:
- Haruru: 80-90dB, suitable for noisy environments.
- ngawari: 60-75dB, for quieter settings.
- Wahangu: The display will only blink when the timer reaches zero, with no audible alarm.
Note: When set to Loud or Soft, the timer will also beep when setting the time. Slide to Mute if silent operation is desired.
5. Tiaki
5.1 Whakakapinga Pūhiko
Replace the three AAA batteries when the low power icon appears on the display to ensure optimal performance. Refer to Section 2.1 for detailed battery installation instructions.
5.2 Te horoi
Wipe the timer with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or submerging the device in water.
6. Te Raru
- Display is dim or off:
- Tirohia te taumata o te pākahiko me te whakakapi mehemea e tika ana.
- Ensure the brightness switch is not set to ECO mode if a continuously bright display is desired.
- Kāore te whakaoho e tangi ana:
- Check the volume switch on the side of the timer and ensure it is not set to Mute.
- Timer not responding to button presses:
- Ensure batteries are correctly installed and have sufficient power.
- Press buttons firmly.
