Proper installation is crucial for optimal performance and safety. If you are unsure about any steps, consult a qualified installer.
4.1 Te Whakamahere i te Tūnga Kaikōrero
- Choose locations free from obstructions like studs, electrical wires, or plumbing.
- For stereo sound, position speakers equidistant from the primary listening area.
- The moisture-resistant design allows installation in damp and humid indoor/enclosed areas such as bathrooms, kitchens, and covered porches.

4.2 Nga Tohutohu Whakaeke
- Whakaritea te whakatuwheratanga: Use the provided Perfect Fit template to mark the cutout area on your ceiling. The cutout diameter is 8.19 inches (20.8 cm). Ensure there is sufficient mounting depth of 3.94 inches (10 cm).
- Tapahia te whakatuwheratanga: Carefully cut the marked opening using an appropriate tool.
- Whakahaerehia ngā Waea Kaikōrero: Route speaker wires from your amplifier to the speaker openings. Ensure wires are rated for in-wall/in-ceiling use and meet local building codes.
- Tūhono Waea: Connect the speaker wires to the terminals on the back of the speaker. Observe correct polarity (+ to + and - to -).
- Whakauruhia te Kaikōrero: Āta whakaurua te kaikorero ki roto i te pūaha tapahi.
- Kaikōrero Haumaru: Tighten the rotating cams with a screwdriver. These cams will pivot and clamp the speaker firmly to the ceiling, ensuring vibration-free efficiency. Do not overtighten.
- Tāpirihia te Matapihi: Place the magnetic grille onto the speaker frame. The grille can be painted to match your ceiling before installation.

4.3 Waea Whakahoahoa
The MC60 speakers have an impedance of 8 ohms. Connect them to an amplifier or receiver capable of handling an 8-ohm load. For optimal performance, use high-quality speaker wire of appropriate gauge for the length of the run.

5.1 Adjusting the Aimable Tweeter
