This manual provides comprehensive instructions for the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your LAUNCH X431 Pro Dyno diagnostic scan tool. Please read this manual thoroughly before operating the device to ensure proper use and to maximize its capabilities.
The LAUNCH X431 Pro Dyno is an all-in-one diagnostic scan tool designed for automotive professionals and enthusiasts. It offers extensive vehicle coverage, advanced diagnostic functions, and user-friendly operation.
2. Hua Neke Atuview
The X431 Pro Dyno is equipped with a high-performance Android 10.0 operating system, a 2.0GHz 4-core CPU, 64GB of memory, and a 6300mAh battery. It features a DBScar VII VCI with CAN FD support for broad vehicle compatibility.

3.1 Te Wetewete me te Tirotiro
Carefully unpack all components and verify against the packing list. Inspect for any signs of damage during transit. If any items are missing or damaged, contact customer support immediately.
3.2 Te Whakataki i te Pūrere
Before first use, fully charge the X431 Pro Dyno tablet using the provided power adapter. The charging indicator will show the charging status.
3.3 Kei te Hiko / Weto
To power on, press and hold the power button until the screen illuminates. To power off, press and hold the power button, then select "Power Off" from the options.
3.4 Ruānuku Tatūnga Tuatahi
Upon first boot, follow the on-screen instructions to configure language, Wi-Fi connection, and time zone settings. Ensure a stable internet connection for software updates and online functions.
3.5 Hononga VCI
The DBScar VII VCI (Vehicle Communication Interface) connects the tablet to the vehicle's OBD-II port. It supports both wireless (Bluetooth) and wired (USB) communication.
- Hononga Nihokikorangi: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on the tablet. The VCI will automatically pair when powered on and within range.
- Hononga USB: Connect the VCI to the tablet using the supplied USB cable for a direct connection.
4. Nga Tohutohu Whakahaere
4.1 Te Hononga ki tētahi Waka
- Locate the vehicle's OBD-II diagnostic port (usually under the dashboard).
- Plug the DBScar VII VCI into the OBD-II port. The VCI indicator light will illuminate.
- Hurihia te mura o te waka ki te turanga "ON" (whakaweto te miihini).
- On the X431 Pro Dyno tablet, select "Local Diagnose" or "Intelligent Diagnose" to begin.
4.2 Intelligent Diagnostics (AutoVIN)
The Intelligent Diagnose feature automatically identifies the vehicle's VIN and retrieves relevant information, streamlining the diagnostic process.

4.3 All-System Diagnostics
The tool performs OE-level diagnostics across all available vehicle systems, including Engine, Transmission, ABS, Airbag, TPMS, SAS, and more. It reads and clears Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) and displays live data streams.

4.4 Bi-directional Control (Active Test)
This function allows the user to send commands to vehicle components and actuators to test their functionality, such as turning mirrors on/off, performing injector buzz tests, or activating cooling fans.

4.5 ECU Coding and Special Functions
The X431 Pro Dyno supports advanced functions like ECU Coding (online/offline), component matching, module replacement, personalization, and adaptive data reset. It also provides over 38 reset and service functions.
