2.2 Hononga Hiko

The DHO914S supports Type-C power input, allowing for flexible power options, including portable power sources for on-site testing. Connect the provided power cable to the Type-C port on the rear panel and then to a suitable power outlet.

2.3 Te Hononga Whakatairanga

Connect the included passive probes to the BNC input connectors on the front panel. Ensure a secure connection. For accurate measurements, it is recommended to compensate the probes before use. Refer to the on-screen menu for probe compensation procedures.

The DHO900 series features a compact form factor. It also supports standard monitor stand usage via a VESA mount, which can help reduce desktop footprint and provide more workspace.

Press the power button located on the front panel to turn the oscilloscope on or off. The device may take approximately 30 seconds to boot up.

The DHO914S features a 7-inch 1024 x 600 high-definition touchscreen for intuitive interaction. Most functions can be accessed directly via touch gestures or the physical control knobs and buttons.

A new Flex knob provides a user-friendly operating experience, allowing for quick adjustments and navigation through menus.

3.3 Ngā Ine Taketake

Connect your signal source to the desired analog channel using a compensated probe. Use the vertical and horizontal controls to adjust the waveform display. The 12-bit vertical resolution ensures precise signal representation, even for small signals.

The Ultra Aqua mode provides a waveform capture rate of up to 1 million wfms/s, enabling the capture of transient events and rare anomalies.

3.4 Built-in Signal Generator

The DHO914S includes a 1-channel built-in arbitrary waveform/function generator. Access this function through the menu to generate various waveforms for testing circuits.

3.5 Hononga

The DHO914S comes standard with USB Device&Host, LAN, and HDMI ports. These interfaces support remote control, data transfer, and display output for collaborative work or presentations.
