This manual provides detailed instructions for the Akko 3098 Mechanical Keyboard. Designed for both Mac and Windows users, this keyboard features a compact 98-key layout, durable PBT double-shot keycaps, and hot-swappable switches for a customizable typing experience. Please read this manual thoroughly to ensure proper setup and operation.

4. Aratohu Tatūnga

The Akko 3098 keyboard supports both wired and wireless (Bluetooth or 2.4 GHz) connections.

5. Nga Tohutohu Whakahaere
5.1. Switching Between Mac and Windows Modes
To switch between operating system modes:
- For Windows mode: Press and hold Fn + Q.
- For Mac mode: Press and hold Fn + O.
5.2. Ngā Kī Ka Taea te Whakahōtaka
The Akko 3098 keyboard allows for re-mapping of most keys to customize functionality. This feature is managed through dedicated software (not included, typically available for download from the manufacturer's website). Keys used for controlling Macro mode (Esc/Win) cannot be re-mapped.
5.3. Te Whakakapinga o te Pātene me te Pana
The keyboard features hot-swappable switches, allowing users to change switches without soldering. This requires a keycap puller and a switch puller (both typically included in the package).
- Using the keycap puller, gently remove the desired keycap by pulling straight up.
- Once the keycap is removed, use the switch puller to grasp the switch firmly and pull it straight up to remove it from the PCB.
- Align the pins of the new switch with the holes on the PCB and press down gently until it clicks into place. Ensure the pins are not bent.
- Place the desired keycap onto the new switch stem and press down firmly.

6. Tiaki
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Akko 3098 Mechanical Keyboard, follow these maintenance guidelines:

7. Te Raru
If you encounter issues with your Akko 3098 Mechanical Keyboard, try the following solutions:
- Papapātuhi Kaore i te whakautu:
- Ensure the USB cable is securely connected or the wireless dongle is properly inserted.
- If using wireless, check battery levels and ensure the keyboard is in the correct mode (2.4 GHz or Bluetooth).
- Whakamātauria te hono atu ki tētahi atu tauranga USB, ki tētahi atu rorohiko rānei, kia kore ai he raruraru kei roto i te tauranga, i te pūnaha rānei.
- Kī Kāore i te Rēhita:

- Incorrect Key Output (Mac/Win):
- Ensure the keyboard is set to the correct operating system mode (Fn+Q for Windows, Fn+O for Mac).
- Programmable Key Issues:
- Verify that the programming software is installed and updated.
- Ensure you are not attempting to re-map the Esc or Win keys, as these are reserved for Macro mode control.
