4. Tatūnga me te Tāuta
Replacing the uplift wing blade requires careful attention to detail. Follow these general steps, but always consult your AL-KO mower's specific manual for precise instructions.
- Whakapaia te Mower: Ensure the mower is turned off, cooled down, and the spark plug wire is disconnected (or unplugged for electric models).
- Tilt the Mower: Carefully tilt the mower onto its side, ensuring the carburetor and air filter are facing upwards to prevent fuel or oil leaks.
- Whakaorangia te Mata: Use a block of wood or a specialized blade removal tool to prevent the blade from turning while you loosen the retaining bolt.
- Tango Mata Tawhito: Using an appropriately sized wrench, loosen and remove the blade retaining bolt(s). Note the orientation of the old blade before removal.
- Horoia te Rohe: Horoia nga tapahi tarutaru, otaota ranei mai i te waahi whakapuru rau i runga i te papa kaoti.
- Tāutahia te Mata Hou: Position the new ISE replacement blade onto the blade adapter, ensuring it is correctly oriented. The uplift wings should point upwards towards the mower deck.
- Pūmau te Mata Hou: Reinstall the retaining bolt(s) and tighten them securely. Refer to your mower's manual for the correct torque specifications.
- Manatokohia te Tāutatanga: Once installed, manually rotate the blade to ensure it spins freely and does not wobble.
- Return Mower to Operating Position: Carefully lower the mower back onto its wheels.
- Honoa Anō te Mana: Reconnect the spark plug wire or plug in the electric mower.
5. Mahi
Once installed, the ISE Replacement Blade functions as the primary cutting component of your AL-KO lawn mower. 6. Tiaki
