1.1 Te Wetewete me te Tirotiro
Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Verify that all items listed in the packing list are present and undamaged. Retain the packaging for future transport or storage.
1.2 Hononga Hiko
- Ensure the cash register is placed on a stable, flat surface.
- Connect the power cord to the power input port on the rear of the cash register.

Upon first power-on, the register may prompt for date and time settings. Follow the on-screen instructions or refer to the programming section for detailed steps on setting the correct date and time.
1.5 Cash Drawer Connection
Connect the cash drawer cable to the designated port on the rear of the cash register. The cash drawer will automatically open during specific transactions (e.g., cash sales, no-sale operations).
2. Nga Tohutohu Whakahaere
2.1 Basic Sales Transaction
- Turn the Mode Switch to the REG (Register) position.
- Enter the item price using the numeric keypad.
- Press the appropriate Department key (e.g., DEPT 1). Repeat for additional items.
- To finalize the sale, press the TAPEKE kī.
- Enter the amount received from the customer.
- Pehia te KAUPAPA key. The register will print a receipt and display the change due.
2.2 Using PLU (Price Look-Up) Items
For items programmed with PLU codes:
- Turn the Mode Switch to REG.
- Enter the PLU number.
- Pehia te PLU key. The item's pre-programmed price will be registered.
- Proceed with the transaction as described in Section 2.1.
2.3 Voiding and Refunds
- Voiding an Item (before TOTAL): Enter the item price, press the Department key, then press the VOID kī.
- Refund (after TOTAL): Turn the Mode Switch to WHAKAATU (if available) or REG me te whakamahi i te WHAKAATU function. Enter the amount to be refunded and press the KAUPAPA key. Consult the programming guide for specific refund procedures.
2.4 Daily Reports (X-Report and Z-Report)
- X-Report (Reading Report): Provides a current summary of sales without clearing totals. Turn the Mode Switch to X, ka pehi i te TAPEKE kī.
- Z-Report (Reset Report): Clears daily sales totals and prints a comprehensive summary. This report should be run at the end of each business day. Turn the Mode Switch to Z, ka pehi i te TAPEKE kī.
3. Tiaki

Regular cleaning helps maintain the performance and appearance of your cash register.
