Te Tunu Kai Taketake:
- Te Tautuhi i te Wā Tunu: Press the "Time Cook" button, then enter the desired cooking time using the number pad. Press "Start".
- Tautuhi Taumata Hiko: After setting cook time, press "Power Level" and select a power level from 1-10 (10 being 100% power). Press "Start".
- Kuki Whakawhiti: For quick cooking, simply press any number from 1 to 6 on the number pad to cook for that many minutes (e.g., press '3' for 3 minutes). The oven will start immediately.
- +30 Seconds: To add 30 seconds to the current cooking cycle or to start cooking for 30 seconds instantly, press the "+30 Sec" button.

- Paehau: Optimized for Orville Redenbacher's popcorn. Select the popcorn button and choose the bag size (e.g., 1.75 oz, 3.0 oz, 3.5 oz).

- Pizza: For reheating pizza. Select the pizza button and choose the quantity (e.g., 4 oz, 8 oz, 14 oz).
- Huawhenua Whakatio: For cooking frozen vegetables. Select the frozen vegetable button and choose the quantity (e.g., 4 oz, 8 oz, 16 oz).
- Inu: For heating beverages. Select the beverage button and choose the quantity (1, 2, or 3 cups).
- Whakawerahia: For reheating dinner plates. Select the reheat button and choose the quantity (e.g., 9 oz, 12 oz, 18 oz).

Whakatakaa:
- Whakahau Aunoa: Press the "Auto Defrost" button, then select the food type (Meat, Poultry, Seafood). Enter the weight of the food using the number pad. The oven will automatically calculate the defrosting time.
- Wā Whakahau: Press the "Time Defrost" button, then enter the desired defrosting time using the number pad. Press "Start".
- Taumaha Whakahau: Press the "Weight Defrost" button, then enter the weight of the food in ounces (4-100 oz) using the number pad. Press "Start".
Child-Resistant Door Lock:
This microwave oven is equipped with a UL923 Child-Resistant Door Lock function. The door will remain locked for the duration of the cooking operation. After completion of the cooking operation, and for up to 30 minutes thereafter, the user must press the "0 (Unlock)" button before pulling the door open or pressing the door open button.
To disable or re-enable this feature, press '7', '9', then hold '0' for 3 seconds. When disabled, "OFF" will be displayed with an audible sound. When re-enabled, "Door" will be displayed with an audible sound. Once disabled, this feature will remain disabled even after a power outage.
