Electrical Connection (Hardwired):

4. Nga Tohutohu Whakahaere

The AMZCHEF induction cooktop features intuitive slide touch controls for easy operation.

Powering On/Off and Adjusting Heat:

  • Whakahiko: Touch the ON/OFF button for the desired burner.
  • Whakatikatika Mana: Use the slide touchscreen to select one of the 9 power levels. Slide your finger along the control bar or tap directly on the desired level.
  • Taumahi Whakanui: Activate the 'Boost' function for any burner to temporarily increase its power for 5 minutes, allowing for faster heating (e.g., boiling water).
  • Weto Whakakore: Touch the ON/OFF button again for the desired burner, or slide the power level to '0'.

Taumahi Matawā:

Each burner has an independent timer that can be set for up to 99 minutes. Once the set time expires, the corresponding burner will automatically turn off.

To activate the child safety lock, press and hold the lock button for 3 seconds. This will disable the controls, preventing accidental changes to settings or activation of burners. To deactivate, press and hold the lock button again for 3 seconds.
