4. Tatūnga

Follow these steps to set up your LEVN Wireless Lavalier Microphone System for first use.

4.1 Whakataki Tuatahi

  1. Place both transmitters (TX) and receivers (RX) into the charging case.
  2. Connect the charging case to a power source using a USB-C cable (not included).
  3. The digital display on the charging case will show the battery level. Ensure all units are fully charged before first use. A full charge takes approximately 1.5 hours.

4.2 Pairing the Devices

The transmitters and receivers are typically pre-paired at the factory. If pairing is lost or if you are pairing for the first time:

  1. Remove the TX and RX units from the charging case. They will automatically power on.
  2. The indicator lights on both TX and RX will flash, indicating they are searching for a connection.
  3. Once successfully paired, the indicator lights on both units will turn solid.

5.1 Hiko / Whakaweto

  • Hiko Hiko: Remove the TX and RX units from the charging case. They will power on automatically. Alternatively, press and hold the Power button on the TX unit for 3 seconds.
  • Whakaweto Hiko: Place the TX and RX units back into the charging case. They will power off automatically. Alternatively, press and hold the Power button on the TX unit for 3 seconds.

5.2 Hopu Ororongo

  1. Ensure the receiver is connected to your recording device and the transmitters are powered on and paired.
  2. Clip the transmitter(s) to your clothing, ideally within 6-8 inches of your mouth, for optimal sound capture.
  3. Open your preferred audio or video recording application on your device.
  4. Start recording. The system will capture audio wirelessly through the transmitters.

5.3 Whakakore Haruru

The LEVN system features AI Noise Cancelling Technology to reduce ambient background noise.

  • To activate Noise Cancellation: Press the dedicated Noise Cancellation button on the transmitter (TX) unit. The indicator light may change color or pattern to confirm activation.
  • To deactivate Noise Cancellation: Press the Noise Cancellation button again.

5.4 Monitoring Audio
