4. Tatūnga me te Tāuta

4.1 Te Wetewete

Carefully remove all packaging materials, including foam and adhesive tape. Inspect the refrigerator for any damage. Keep packaging materials out of reach of children.

4.2 Whakanoho

  • Do not install in areas with high humidity.

4.3 Te horoi tuatahi

Before first use, clean the interior and exterior of the refrigerator with a soft cloth and a mild detergent solution. Wipe dry thoroughly.

4.4 Hononga Hiko

After placing the refrigerator, wait for at least 2-4 hours before plugging it into a power outlet. This allows the refrigerant to settle. Connect the refrigerator to a dedicated, properly grounded electrical outlet. The appliance supports stabilizer-free operation within 135V-290V.

4.5 Te Whakahuri i te Kūaha (Whiringa)

The door hinge is factory-set for right-hand opening. If you wish to reverse the door opening direction, please contact authorized service personnel.

The temperature inside the refrigerator is controlled by a thermostat dial, usually located inside the fresh food compartment. Turn the dial to adjust the cooling level. A higher number typically indicates colder temperatures. Start with a medium setting and adjust as needed based on ambient temperature and food load.

5.2 Whakaweto A-ringa

As a direct-cool refrigerator, frost will accumulate in the freezer compartment. Manual defrosting is required when the frost layer reaches approximately 5mm (0.2 inches) thick.
