4. Aratohu Tatūnga

Follow these steps for initial setup of your Zgrmbo MX6035 Atomic Alarm Clock:

  1. Whakauruhia nga Pataha: Open the battery compartment on the back of the clock and insert 3 new AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity.
  2. Automatic WWVB Signal Search: Upon battery installation, the clock will automatically begin searching for the WWVB atomic signal. This process may take 7-14 minutes. Place the clock near a window, ideally facing Colorado, for optimal reception. A signal icon will appear on the display when reception is successful.
  3. Tīpako Rohe Wā: Once the signal is received and the time is set, press the SET button to cycle through and select your correct time zone (PST, MST, CST, EST).

5. Nga Tohutohu Whakahaere

5.1. Time and Date Display

  • The main display shows the current time.
  • The date (month and day) is displayed below the alarm time.
  • Indoor temperature (℉/℃) and humidity (%) are shown at the bottom right.

5.2. 12/24 Hour Format Switching

To switch between 12-hour (AM/PM) and 24-hour formats, press the UP pātene.

5.3. Te Whakatakoto i te Whakaoho

  1. Pehia te AL.SET button once to enter alarm setting mode. The alarm hour will flash.
  2. Whakamahia te UP or RARO nga paatene hei whakatika i te haora whakaoho.
  3. Perehi AL.SET again to confirm the hour and move to alarm minute setting. The alarm minute will flash.
  4. Whakamahia te UP or RARO nga paatene hei whakatika i te meneti whakaoho.
  5. Perehi AL.SET a third time to confirm and exit alarm setting mode. The alarm icon will appear on the display, indicating the alarm is active.

5.4. Mahi whakamoe

When the alarm sounds, press the top of the clock (the ON/OFF button area) to activate the snooze function. The alarm will pause for 5 minutes and then sound again. You can repeat this process.

5.5. Disabling the Alarm

Hei whakaweto katoa i te whakaoho, pēhi i te AL.SET button when the alarm is not sounding. The alarm icon on the display will disappear.

5.6. Manual Backlight Activation

In any lighting condition, press the top of the clock (the ON/OFF button area) to manually illuminate the display for a few seconds.

  • Te horoi: Wipe the clock with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or chemicals.
