2.1 Checking Compatibility

Before connecting the hub, ensure your device's USB-C port supports the necessary functions for the hub's features (e.g., video output, power delivery, data transfer). Not all USB-C ports are full-function.

  1. Connect the USB-C cable of the HATOKU hub to a compatible USB-C port on your laptop, tablet, or smartphone.
  2. For power delivery, connect your original USB-C power adapter to the PD (Power Delivery) port on the hub.
  3. Connect your external devices (monitor, keyboard, mouse, USB drives, SD/TF cards, audio devices) to the corresponding ports on the hub.

3.1 One-Touch Screen On/Off Function

The hub features a dedicated button to quickly turn your connected HDMI display on or off. This is useful for privacy protection or to conserve power without disconnecting the hub.

3.2 Video Output (HDMI)

Connect an HDMI cable from the hub's HDMI port to your monitor, HDTV, or projector. The hub supports 4K UHD resolution at 60Hz, providing a clear and vibrant display.

3.3 Power Delivery (PD Charging)

The PD port supports up to 100W input and 85W pass-through charging, allowing you to power your laptop or other USB-C devices while using the hub's other functions. Connect your device's original power adapter to the hub's PD port.

3.4 Data Transfer (USB & Card Reader)

Utilize the USB 3.0, USB 2.0, and USB-C data ports for connecting peripherals and transferring data. The SD and TF card slots allow for quick access to media files.
