The SMATRUL Smart Plug operates with the Smart Life App or Tuya Smart App. Download the app from your device's app store.

4.2 Connecting to Wi-Fi (2.4GHz Only)
The smart plug requires a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network for initial setup and operation. Ensure your smartphone is connected to a 2.4GHz network during the pairing process.
- Plug the smart plug into a wall outlet.
- Open the Smart Life or Tuya Smart App.

- Press and hold the button on the smart plug until the indicator light flickers quickly. This indicates pairing mode.

- Once successfully added, you can rename the device for easier control.

4.3 RF433 Pairing Method (Optional)
This smart plug supports RF433 remote control for extended range and alternative control methods. An RF433 remote control is sold separately.
- Plug the smart plug into a wall outlet.
- Quickly click the button on the smart plug twice.
- Quickly click the desired button on your RF433 remote control twice to pair.
To clear the RF433 pairing signal, quickly click the button on the smart plug 8 times.

5.1 Mana Take/Weto
- Mana a-ringa: Press the physical button on the smart plug to toggle power on or off.
- Mana Taupānga: Open the Smart Life or Tuya Smart App, select your smart plug, and tap the power icon to turn it on or off.
- Mana Reo: Integrate with Alexa or Google Home (see section 5.3). Use commands like "Alexa, turn on [device name]" or "Hey Google, turn off [device name]".
5.2 Te Whakaritenga me ngā Taima
The app allows you to set schedules, countdowns, and other timing functions for automated control.
- In the Smart Life/Tuya Smart App, select your smart plug.
- Navigate to the "Timer" or "Schedule" section.
- Set desired on/off times, countdowns, or recurring schedules.
The smart plug features a memory function, returning to its last state (on/off) after a power interruption.

5.3 Whakaurunga Mana Reo (Alexa/Google Home)
To enable voice control, link your Smart Life or Tuya Smart account with your Amazon Alexa or Google Home app.

- Go to the "Skills" (Alexa) or "Works with Google" (Google Home) section.

5.4 USB C Port Usage
The integrated USB C port provides 5V/1A power output for charging compatible devices or powering USB-C accessories. Note that the USB C port's power is independent of the main AC outlet's control and remains on continuously.
