1. Hononga Mana
- Locate the power adapter cable included with your alarm clock.
- Insert the small end of the power adapter into the DC IN port on the back of the alarm clock.
- Plug the larger end of the power adapter into a standard electrical wall outlet. The clock display will illuminate.
2. Tāuta Pūrua Pūhiko
The alarm clock requires 2 AAA batteries (not included) for battery backup functionality. This feature ensures that time and alarm settings are retained during a power outage, and the alarm will still sound. The display will be blank during battery backup mode.
- Open the battery compartment cover located on the bottom of the alarm clock.
- Insert two (2) fresh AAA batteries, observing the correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated inside the compartment.

3. Te Whakahohe/Whakakore i te Whakaoho
- Pehia te PANUWHIRI ON / WAWHI button to toggle the alarm function.
- When the alarm is active, an alarm indicator light (dot) will appear on the display.

4. Snooze and Display Dimmer
- Mahinga Tohu: Ka tangi te whakaoho, pehia te rahi SNOOZE / DIMMER button to temporarily silence the alarm for a short period (typically 9 minutes). The alarm will sound again after the snooze period.
- Whakaatu Rima: When the alarm is not sounding, press the SNOOZE / DIMMER button repeatedly to cycle through the three brightness levels of the white LED display (Bright, Medium, Dim).
5. Using the USB Fast Charge Port
The alarm clock features a convenient 2 AMP USB charge port located on the top of the unit, designed for fast charging of compatible smartphones and other devices.

- Connect your device's USB charging cable (not included) to the USB port on the top of the alarm clock.
- Connect the other end of the cable to your smartphone or other compatible device.
- Ensure the alarm clock is powered on for the USB port to function. The charging speed will be 2 AMPs, which is faster than standard 1 AMP Tauranga USB.

Confirm the alarm clock is connected to AC power. Ensure your USB charging cable is functional and properly connected to both the clock and your device. Some devices may require specific charging protocols not fully supported by all USB ports. - Display is too bright or too dim:
